History/Philosophy

Since 1950, First Insurance Services has provided security and stability for all of our customers. As an Independent Agency, we have protected businesses and people in central North Carolina from the financial pain of storms, fires, thefts, accidents and injuries for over 50 years.

During those years, we evolved from a one-person office providing crop insurance and personal lines of insurance to a full service insurance agency offering protection for everything from multi-million dollar buildings to private homes and from small retail stores to high technology corporations.

We have grown to meet the needs of a growing region in central North Carolina and throughout the state. We have expanded our stable of insurance companies and developed specialized programs to serve schools, contractors, restaurants, manufacturers, auto service shops, technology companies and daycares, among others.
